Recently we had the pleasure of working with the lovely Barb Gadzik (the director of Mars Gallery) for Julie and Matt's Chicago wedding! Mars Gallery is situated in the heart of Chicago's Fulton Market above Jupiter Outpost Cafe and next to Chicago Party Animals. Mars Gallery has been a permanent fixture in the West Loop for 27 years and features art work by pop art icon/artist Peter Mars. We were lucky enough to use one of Peter's paintings as the Fotio backdrop! Thanks to Fotio attendant Rachel Smith for taking all of these awesome pictures. We had a fun time meeting the staff and patrons at this small batch distillery tucked away in the Industrial District of Chicago on 2010 W. Fulton St. They have a beautiful interior tasting room perfect for your small Chicago corporate or personal event. We got to meet the Father-daughter team who opened the distillery - Charlie and Jenny Solberg. Check out all the fun photo booth pictures we took below!
This was one of our favorite Chicago holiday parties of 2014. The rustic feel of Moonlight Studios paired with Fotio's vintage style fit in perfectly for this company's 1900s Bohemian themed extravaganza. We used the textured white brick as a photo backdrop which was illuminated by golden lighting from Sound Investment AV. The prop list included 6 top hats, 6 monocles, 2 baguettes, 3 berets, 3 orders of fake cigarettes, 1 toy violin, 1 toy guitar, 1 oversized picture frame and five 20-packs of fake mustaches. Redmoon Theatre provided two "bartenders on bikes" serving absinthe throughout the evening. Thanks to photographer Laura Fisher for sharing these great Fotio captures from the event!
Fotio had an awesome time at Venue One for the Annual Steppenwolf Theatre Red or White Ball fundraiser! We used the painted white brick as a backdrop and a 50" external monitor for extra photo booth fun so everyone could see the pictures from across the room. View all the photos here.
